I'm looking for the road to clarity
But all I see is the path to insanity.
I'm stuck at a fork in the road of my mind
Hoping that there is some peace I can find.
Pushing and shoving against this subconscious twitch.
I try all I can when avoiding this itch.
But some words are hurtful and stick in your brain
And make it a challenge for you to stay sane.
They abuse you and use you with little white lies
And convince you you're trash so that you shut your eyes
To the truth that you're more and your treatment's not fair
But when was the last time that anyone cared?

Every ounce of my power is draining.
The surrounding world is fading.
